We need to document and share the dying traditions which act as pillars to our societies. Many "Rites and Myths" capture the life forces, communicate with nature to seek the natural unity of things and beings to discern the "global spirit" of the universe.

Part of the “Atlas of African Dying Traditions” Series, a broader long project in Sub Saharan Africa, this unique shot presents the "Carnaval" tradition in Guinea-Bissau.
