Not selfies. Self Portraits!

For too long I’ve seen myself through the lens of society, coworkers, family members, lovers, strangers, etc… but not through the lens of my own eyes. 

My Genesis piece is the inception of an exploration of Self, Identity, Expression, and Representation through Self-Portraiture.

I want to remind women, especially women of color that we have the power & right to represent ourselves and our bodies. Breaking all preconceived stereotypes placed upon us.
