confused_canvas (2024) is a series inspired by the basic concept of a grid that interconnects all the editions of the collection with each other
The first edition is the beginning, and the collection can be extended indefinitely or never
The works in this collection share a geometric arrangement and an aesthetic code that makes them compatible but different from each other, displaying an infinity of different combinations that can be extended or completed at any time
“A set of simple ideas resulting in a complex question”
Víctor Arce is a new media artist and educator based in Barcelona who takes retro-computer aesthetics, the accelerated visual culture of the last decade and the abstract and colorful nature of glitch-art as references for his graphic work. His work could be described as a set of simple ideas resulting in a complex question.
After almost a decade of building his aesthetic universe, brands such as Nike, Apple, WeTransfer, Forbes, Mastodon or the New York Times have trusted his vision.
